Animal Dress Up Day

We are raising money for the school's end of year trip to Wellington. We all dress up in some amazing costumes. How many different animals can you see?

Catching

This morning at Sports Academy we learnt how to catch properly with two hands.
we know to make a triangle with our fingers and close the rest of our fingers around the ball.

Tayla's papier mache

Tayla was very busy over the weekend creating a papier mache tree.
She has brought this to school.

At Sports Academy we have been learning the correct technique for overarm and underarm throwing.

Paua Shell Descriptions

The paua shell has a sea noise. When the people cut the meat of it, the meat is sticky. I like the inside and I see seven holes in it.    By Tayla
